Guest Blog Post for Jessica Van Den, Epheriell Designs

I am delighted to be kicking off the first week of the New Year with my first ever guest blog post over on Epheriell Designs.  I documented the beginning of my new sketchbook for her.  It seemed a fitting activity for a blog series starting in the dawn of 2011.  Lots of blank crisp pages, full of potential, possible projects and ponderings.

As you may know from my previous post on this subject (here) that I have a complete inability to start a new sketchbook without some kind of ceremony of collage.

Well, here is what happened next in book 11.

You may remember, back in the summer I made this little collection (you can see the original post here).

And here are the beginnings of my design development.  This necklace has been swimming in my mind for a few months now - I think it's time for it to exist.

I will be back before the end of the day with my next double page spread for the Art House Co-op's Sketchbook Project 2011.
