When I grow up I want to be a Stop Motion Animator.

In the age of computer animation I have a fascination for the older methods of creating motion.  This must partly be rooted in nostalgia and partly in the beguiling simplicity of the process.  Just a three dimensional version of a flick book.  The process is very accessible.  There is an immediacy to the work.  It seems to vibrate very slightly with touch and fingerprint.

That said, some of the sequences in the first clip I've included amaze me with their complexity.  Personally I just find the whole process wonderful.  It makes me feel how a child must feel when they see something or discover something for the very first time.  Enthralled, captivated and surprised.
