The shape of things to come

I admit it.  I've been spending a fair few evenings pouring over my Sketchbook project.  But at the end of the day, I have give it away and post it off to New York.  In short, it isn't going to contribute to my weekly grocery bill!  Summer holidays make it difficult to get down to serious workshop activity.  My 'helpers' and hot soldering gas flames do not mix too well.

The last few nights I have lain awake, steamrollered by a train of ideas.  Today, conditions allowed for a bit of productive production.  The fruits of which I enclose for your perusal.

You should know by now that I tend to make things in pairs.  Here is the little brother.

I also have these little transparent enameled silver 'buttons' awaiting for inclusion in a new series that I began thinking about whilst at Central Saint Martins in London this summer.
